winter already!!??
well, i guess i can officially say that where i live, winter is here. yeah, it's october 15th and i am able to say that. it snowed during the night last night, nothin to stick, and it's still not that cold out. we're even suppossed to get into the high 50's, low 60's this week which will be better than the 30's we have been getting. but i do think this is the earliest it's snowed in a while round here. i guess just a little sign that this is going to probably be a tough winter...o well, plenty of snow days, which will be definatly needed.
but other than that, not much new in my life. same ol same ol, just doing all the stuff that i'm in. this week i officially said i am not adding anything else to my very long list of extracurricular activities, i have plenty and i don't think i could balance anymore without pulling 20 hour days 6 days a week. but yeah, with soccer, editor of the newspaper, and science olypiad now starting, i have a lot. soccer will end this week, so i'll get a lil bit more time to do newspaper and sci. oly.(by the way, this is like a sci. club kinda thing but not geeky, it's really fun and you get to do cool things...and normally we get to go to west point, north of nyc, so i think it'll be fun......it just involves lots of work and memorizing stuff). then i'm also practicing for all county aud. in 2 or 3 weeks, that'll be interesting. i'm not sure how good i'll do, i probably won't make it(it wont bother me that much actually) but if i do, great. nov. should be easier, of course then i'll be getting even more homework. of course i'm in all advanced courses and i'm too the point where all the courses i'm taking are tough and require lots of work and studying. the 4th week of school i had to hand in a 17 page essay on beowulf(stupid poem, not worth it). of course i didn't have to make it that long, but if i wanted a good grade, which i did, i got a 100, very surprised, but if i wanted that i had to write a lot. that's why they call it advanced english i guess. and from the stories i've heard, it gets worse in 2 years with supa, a syracuse university english course our school offers and you get college credit.
but that's it for my life right now, i really don't have time for anything else. pretty much, school, soccer/newspaper/so, homework, sleep...and i do that for 5 days...then the 6th day it's going to start being all so every sat. from 10 to at least 2 or 4...so yeah, i'm going to be EXHAUSTED...lol. well, talk to whoever reads this later.
